Dennis connects via Zoom with actor Sam Pancake to discuss his show Pancakes from the Edge, which is loosely inspired by his obsession with the film Postcards From the Edge. He talks about meeting Shirley MacLaine and watching her rip into Richard Dreyfus for being late to reading. He also talks about his recent mainstream Hollywood projects like A Million Little Things, The Goldbergs and the upcoming Chris Pine film Poolman. He also tells the story of how he asked Chris Pine to come and play Burt Reynolds for one night in The Golden Girlz...and Chris said yes! He also talks about how much the landscape has changed for out actors and shares a few stories from times weren't so great.
