Constantly surprising with a wide variety of guests. Not your usual podcast. Dennis finds the most amazing people to interview.

Found this podcast randomly searching for something on the Angeles National Forest! (A SUPER great episode with a forest ranger) He's become one of my favorite "radio friends" and I'm just so happy to have found this gem. Needs more hype!!! 💎💎💎💎💎

Dennis is one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. Effortlessly hilarious, candid, and clever, he fills each episode with his trademark wit and enthusiasm. In a business where politics and backstabbing are all too common, he’s one of those rare creative types that gets inspired by celebrating other creative tribe members. His interview style is informal, irreverent, and conversational and he asks the questions that you’d ask if you were running the show. Entertaining, inspirational, and accessible—you need more Dennis Hensley in your life!

Look out Terry Gross! Just finished the interview between Dennis and Bryan Thompson of 'Motor City Masters' and I've got to say it was one of the most interesting conversational exchanges that I've heard between two people in quite some time. I'm not particularly interested in the nuances of car design, but the questions asked and the answers given certainly garnered my full attention. Loved how the discussion drifted from reality show pressures and the concept behind 'Motor City Masters' to Airstream recreational trailers. Dennis is able to garner the trust of his interview subjects who freely share with him and he, in turn, is not shy about sharing as well. There is a lack of being guarded or self-censoring that makes the conversation so fascinating and wonderful!!!! I truly hope that 'Dennis Anyone' catches on and continues to showcase the talent that Dennis Hensley possesses as a great interviewer.

...because EVERYONE should listen and marvel at Dennis' wonderful interviewing skills and insight. This podcast truly captures the struggles of any artist...or anyone who wants to express themselves. Who can't relate to that? Add candid stories, an open and disarmingly honest approach to people, and a sense of humor for days...and you get podcast magic.

I had gone through some serious boredom not having any Comedy Couch to listen to and am so thrilled Dennis is back with regular episodes! He talks, they talk, they have great conversation! Listen and make your life complete.

I am loving Dennis' newest podcast incarnation. Dennis has such personal and unique conversations with people you may not have heard of but are so glad you've been a part of the moment. This last episode with Wilem was so deep and hiarious. It made me love them both even more.

"Dennis Anyone?" is not only a funny and entertaining podcast, but insightful as well. Hensley has authentic and personal conversations with captivating guests, from a variety of professions within the entertainment industry. We get to hear “insider” stories from writers, performers, producers, etc. Their conversations are raw and unfiltered, and Dennis puts his guests at ease with skilled and effortless exchange. If you’re into hearing “behind-the-scenes” stories from the television world, this podcast is for you. I highly recommend it!

I am always amazed by how honest and positive Dennis is. He invites you along through the ups and downs of his life and makes you truly happy when he is happy. While sometimes overly sweet (I’m pointing at you “Summer of Sass”), he connects with both listeners and guests and delivers an interesting show. I am glad he is continuing to share with the latest incarnation of his podcast.

Dennis and Tony are always so funny but the last 12 minutes of this podcast made me laugh out loud.....by myself...in my car. I looked like a crazy person.

This is such a delightful podcast. Tony and Dennis have such charm and wit. Listening to their podcast is like unwinding with friends. My partner and I started listening every week, and now we've taken a pause on current episodes so we can catch up on all the podcasts from the beginning.
Thank you both for doing this. You two should have a TV show together. You're fantastic. When I'm laughing on the treadmill, it's your fault.
I'm enjoying Dennis's book SCREENING PARTY, too. Highly recommended for all podcast listeners.

I love these guys on D N R, so I'm trilled to have found them solo!! Go GAYS!

Consistently terrific. Two great storytellers who don't hold back in sharing even the more embarrassing developments in their lives with wit and a healthy amount of self-deprecation. I think that this podcast works so well because Dennis and Tony have the easy rapport of best friends, yet they have different personalities and different perspectives to bring to their hilarious tales of dating, travel, and working in the entertainment industry. Start with any episode - they're all good.

I'm here to tell the world that I'm a Couch Potato, and proud of it! If you haven't subscribed to this podcast, what's your problem? These guys are the funniest pair around, and they are both very easy on the eye. What more do you need from a podcast?

These guys are so quick-witted and funny that I tried listening on double speed (like I do all my shows) but I could't keep up. I've recommended the show to a ton of friends and every one of them has thanked me for introducing it to them. Go ahead and subscribe. You'll be glad you did.

I listen to the boys on the subway while I commute to work. I can't tell you how many times I have been stared at for laughing out loud. Being a 40 year old gay guy it is awesome to know that this crap isn't just happening to me. "Hope to he" is now part of my internal monologue.
Keep up the podcasts guys….it's the best.

I have been wanting to sit on this couch for years and love that these two local LA faves have finally decided to share their creative hilarity with the world. From irritable bowels to an irritable Tripoli, this podcast is never short on laughs or fun stories. Also, their ability to recall old stories will have you making sure you don't miss a single broadcast!

My full admiration to Tony and Dennis for demonstrating the spirit of helping others in need.
Tony's story of making payments on layaways at Kmart was truly touching and inspirational.
What a great example of how we can help and in such a positive and constructive way.
Keep up the good work and let's keep inspiring our community to do good - regardless of orientation, color, or religion.

I've been a faitful couch potato from almost the begining. Dennis Hensley and Tony Tripoli are the best of friends, and roomates. Both are in the entertainment business. Both come from cruise ship entertainment beginings. Dennis has authored hundreds of articles, a couple of books . Tony has been involved in comedy, from working on E!, producing his own popular comedy tours, and becoming the head comedy writer for Joan Rivers on the Fashion Police.
More then comedy comes from the couch. There is wisdom, reflections on life, fear, anxiety, and how to make it in Hollywood. With all of their accomplishments, Dennis and Tony couldn't be more down to earth. They share just as much oc their private lives, relationships, family lives ,etc. It's been a fabulous ride. While they are wildly entertaining, is also great that two guys who went to Hollywood to follow their dream has something in common with you.
Do yourself a favor. Download the podcast, sit back and enjoy. Go back and listen from the begining. You'll learn just how funny fast food really is , and discover how hot a loaf of bread can be.

Feeling a little down in the dumps after the holidays then this podcast is for you. Tony and Dennis will soon become your two best friends that you've never met. I have been a loyal "couch potato" for over a year and look forward to each new episode. The lively conversation between Tony and Dennis will draw you in and leave you wanting more.

There is just nothing better than listening to these two housemates catch up after a long week of working on their various projects and romantic conquests. I laugh harder at this podcast than I do at any other one (and I subscribe to 27) that I listen to. It's fantastic.

After 2 years of faithful listening, these guys have become 2 of the best friends I have listened in on, yet never met! I look forward to their witty banter and recap of daily adventures every week. Most often I listen while at the gym, but be warned, outbursts of laughter will ensue. Unassisted bench pressing should be avoided while listening to their podcast! Trust me on this!

I came across The Comedy Couch through one of the other podcasts I listen to—Popcorn Mafia—and immediately subscribed to it once I listened to one episode. Some of the stuff Dennis and Tony say is gut-bustingly funny. I listen to it at the gym when I'm running and get weird looks for laughing so much. I've even brought "This is unacceptable" into my own daily dealings, and it's worked out great, so thank you!

Dennis and Tony are g-d national treasures! The 2 episode arc Text from an Ex and A Craig's List Jawdropper are required listening. Abolutely riveting and I liked the (real-life) story better than Mad Men. They're so smart and funny and because they really get each other are so much fun to listen to! Sometimes they'll break into a bit out of nowhere in the same way that people on a musical burst into song. The Drunken Family Feud is a new favorite. Subscribe!!!
