Show Notes
Dennis visits the Valley Village apartment of writer Jim Colucci to talk about the book Jim's been working on for over "Golden Girls Forever." Jim talks about the genesis of the book, convincing Betty White, Bea Arthur and Rue McLanahan to sit for interviews, finding never-before-seen photos and the thought that went into the design of the book--the inside cover is actually the Golden Girls wallpaper! Jim also talks about why the show has endured, the different ways the show has lived on and why it especially appeals to the LGBT audience. Other topics include: the book he wrote about "Will & Grace" in 2004, riding the Orient Express with Neil Patrick Harris, how he fell in love with television as a young boy and the time he embarrassed himself on the subway with Meryl Streep. www.jimcolucci.com
