Show Notes
Dennis visits the Echo Park home of Jim Hansen to talk with Jim and Jeffery Self, the team behind the new gay horror comedy "You're Killing Me," which just came out on DVD and VOD. (Jim directed the film, Jeffery Stars in it, and they wrote and produced it together). They talk about the inspiration for the film, shooting almost all of it in Jim's house and their adventures on the film festival circuit. Jim talks about his day job; working as the costume supervisor of television shows like "Last Man Standing" and "Rules of Engagement," creating the popular "Chloe" videos with Drew Droege and having a pre-fame Jennifer Lawrence totally strip down in front of him. Jeffery talks about his breakout project, the usual spelling of his first name, The Jeffery & Cole Casserole on Logo, appearing on "30 Rock" and moving to LA from NYC. Other topics include: the George Michael bathroom in Beverly Hills, the pressure to be funny on social media if you want to make it in show business and getting punched in the balls.
