Dennis' friend since forever radio host Derek Hartley stops by the condo and delivers the longest podcast to date, which is why it's going to be divided into two parts. In Part One, Derek talks about how he got put together with his "Derek & Romaine" cohost Romaine Patterson, why their chemistry works, meeting listeners on the road, interviewing Donald J. Trump and Martha Stewart and the worst thing that ever went wrong for him at a Pride Fest. He also talks about making out with listeners, the radio misadventure that led Romaine to meet her wife, and getting emotional over listener reactions after DNR got cancelled. Derek also discusses the joy of hitting a hard break, how he knows so much stuff, why it's hard to interview comedians and how nerve-wracking it's been to start Derek and Romaine 2.0 on the web.
