Dennis heads to the Hudson Theater in Hollywood to interview his longtime friend actress Karole Forman and writer-producer Florian Klein on the eve of the opening of their show Shooting Star, a musical love story set in the world of gay porn. Florian talks about getting the inspiration for the show from his own experience as porn star Hans Berlin, finding his composer Thomas Zaufke and lyricist Erik Ransom. seeking producers and then ultimately deciding to just produce the damn show himself. He also talks about winning porn awards, using his porn stardom as a platform for HIV-education, particularly the U = U message (Undetectable + Untransmittable) and getting inspiration from the Disney classic The Little Mermaid. Florian also recalls telling his parents about his porn career and HIV diagnosis in the same conversation. Karole talks about branching into writing, what her family things of her career and the two miracles she experienced in front of the same L.A. church, one involving a homeless man and the other involving Little Richard. The interview ends with Dennis and Karole sharing memories of the extremely intense musical theater workshop they took together in the late 1980's. Other topics include: fake sperm, being on a Sofia Coppola set when Michael Jackson died, the monkey Karole threw a fit over and Florian's 22-hour erection.
