Show Notes
Dennis ventures to the Sun Valley home of producer-director Walt Bost to talk with Walt and filmmaker John Sobrack about their upcoming webseries "The New 30," which is centered around a just-turned-40-and-totally-freaked-out-about-it gay man and his circle of friends and lovers. Walt and John talk about the real-life feelings that inspired the series, why diversity in casting was important to them and how life doesn't get easier in middle age even though we all thought it would. Other topics include hearing from people who have seen their films at fests or on YouTube, being in a semi-gay bowling league with a pre-fame Kevin Hart and the thrill of working a Lupita Nyong'o joke into their script. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7KXIryiaUk
