Show Notes
Dennis is joined via Zoom by actor, writer, director & editor Artie O’Daly to talk about his new series Sorry I’m Weird, a collection of comedy shorts, which launched last month with an episode called Do You Speak Madonna? He also talks about his other on-going web series Bad Boy, which started as a single stand-alone short…but then blew up on YouTube so he made more and now he’s up to 27 episodes and counting. He talks about the inspiration for both series, getting recognized on the street by fans, the joy and frustrations of doing practically everything yourself and how the webseries seem to exist in a totally different world than his Hollywood career. Other topics include: the Janet Jackson gift that made him gay gasp, his favorite Madonna era, the run-in he had with a crazy cat, playing a recurring role on General Hospital, visiting the set of The Love Boat as a kid and the advise he would give to other would-be web-series creators. www.artieodaly.com
