Show Notes
Dennis plops down in the Manhattan home of writer and fashion
expert Susan Swimmer to talk about her adventures in the publishing
world, having worked for such magazines as Marie Claire, Seventeen
and most recently More. Susan talks about her favorite celebrity
interviews and least favorite interviews, the time she got to visit
the White House and play with the First Dogs, the dick who bought
her a fur coat and her crush on Andy Cohen. Celebrities that get
discussed include Gwen Stefani, Ashley Judd, Mariah Carey, Lance
Armstrong, Michelle Obama, Hoda Kotb, Brooke Shields, John Travolta
and of course, Scott Baio. Susan also opens up about her favorite
waste of time, running into Woody Allen and Soon-Yi on the street,
why fashion matters and why she loves the magazine world. SPECIAL
BONUS FEATURE: During the Susan Swimmer conversation, I mention
playing 80's Name that Tune with Gwyneth Paltrow and I found the
tape and it's included here.
