Dennis heads to the LA LGBT Center's Village to talk to writer, actor and comedian D'Lo about his new one-man show To T or Not to T? D'Lo is trans and his show documents his decision whether or not to take testosterone as well as how his journey has and continues to impact his parents. D'Lo talks about the inspiration for the show, what it's like to perform his parents as characters, the tough talk he had to have with his father on the eve of his commitment ceremony and what it's been like to share such personal intimate details from his life on stage. He also talks about appearing on the TV shows Looking, Transparent and Glee, the increased visibility of trans people in pop culture, doing shows in different parts of the country, visiting Sri Lanka and performing at conservative colleges.
