Show Notes
Dennis visits the Hollywood home of writer-producer Ryan Copple, one of the creative forces behind the new Earwolf comedy podcast "Voyage to the Stars" about a group of misfits (Colton Dunn, Felicia Day, Janet Varney and Steve Berg) who accidentally board an alien spaceship and end up going through a wormhole and having crazy misadventures in space. Ryan talks about the origins of the show, selling it, the recording process and the themes at the heart of the zaniness. He also talks about the popular YouTube show he works on Escape the Night, which puts a group of YouTubers through escape room like challenges. Other topics include: his biggest frustration, where gays and geeks overlap, quitting life as an executive to pursue his creative dreams, that time he wished Halloween could be postponed and it was!--and the forlorn photo of him taken at a misbegotten Pokemon event in Chicago that went viral.
